Çeşme Tiny House Camp Site

For a camp operator on the Çeşme peninsula, 22 tiny houses of 24 and 36 m² and shared kitchen, shower and social-area containers were installed. The units were placed on adjustable feet on sloping land; because no ground preparation was needed, natural vegetation was preserved.

Each tiny house was delivered furnished and with white goods; solar panels on the roof provide enough power for water heating and LED lighting. Rainwater storage was used in the shared areas.

Result

The camp site opened at the start of the season and achieved an average of 91% occupancy throughout the summer. The operator decided to stay open all year by upgrading thermal insulation for winter.

Lessons from this project

Planning site preparation and the access road in advance directly shortens installation time. In every project we prepare a written site handover report with the employer for foundation preparation and draw the turning of delivery vehicles and crane position beforehand.
