Bodrum Boutique Bungalow Hotel

The boutique hotel built in a pine forest in a Bodrum cove consists of 14 bungalows of 45 m² and a 220 m² reception-restaurant building. The bungalows were designed with timber-look cladding and glass facades to suit the slope of the land, and each unit has a private terrace and jacuzzi infrastructure.

All units were produced fully furnished in our factory and delivered loaded; on site only foundation connection, power and water inlets were made. To minimise tree felling, units were positioned with a slim mobile crane instead of a heavy crane.

Result

The hotel opened 5 months after contract date; in its first season it achieved an average of 82% occupancy. The operator ordered 8 more units the following year.

Lessons from this project

Planning site preparation and the access road in advance directly shortens installation time. In every project we prepare a written site handover report with the employer for foundation preparation and draw the turning of delivery vehicles and crane position beforehand.
